Estimated reserves of 250 million of tons of soda ash (sodium carbonate), is the second largest Na-carbonate deposit in the world.
The trona deposit is within the lower part of the Hirka Formation and alternates with bituminous shale and claystones. The trona deposit covers approximately 8 km2 around Cakiloba village.
