A quarry in the 'Bunte Serie' series of metamorphic rocks (biotit- and hornblende gneisses, calc silicate rocks, marbles). Rare pegmatite veins produced schorl and beryl (see also the different locality 'Pegmatite outcrops, Eibenstein').
Located 800 m NE of Eibenstein an der Thaya.
