Copper Mine comprising two open-pit mines 8 km N of Solwezi, in production. Recent exploration defines major copper deposits to the southeast of tenement, which will be exploited in the coming years.
The Kansanshi Cu-(Au) deposit is located in the western Domes region of the Central African Copperbelt and is one of the largest copper mines in Africa.
