Cártama is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. The municipality is situated approximately 17 km from Málaga. It is one of the most extensive towns in the province, covering c. 105 km².

Description: En Trascastillo la Dumortierita apareció en una pequeña Pegmatita rica en litio y boro, junto a la elbaita, cuarzo y microclina . Mineral raro en la zona ya que solo aparecieron muy pocos ejemplares. Las muestras se presentan como pequeñas fibras azuladas incrustadas en el cuarzo.
