Disseminated gold deposit with both Carlin-type and Carlin-like mineralization styles, occurring in Devonian low-grade metamorphic sandstone and limestone.

With estimated reserves of 308 metric tons of gold, Yangshan is China's largest gold deposit. Deposit comprises 98 gold veins distributed over an length of 30 km of the Anchanghe-Guanyingba fault zone and width of 3 to 5 km.
