Porphyry-type gold-polymetallic deposit.
The mineralization at Xiayingfang occurs dominantly as auriferous quartz-sulfide veins in granite porphyry, diorite, and their contact with the Archean gneiss. Over 28 lenticular/elongated orebodies (length: 80β780 m; width: 1β25 m) have been delineated, which generally dip NW at 45 to 65Β° and extend vertically for at least 460 m.
