The Muping-Rushan is mainly located along the boundary between the Paleoproterozoic metamorphic rocks and the Kunyushan pluton and comprises four NNE-striking shear zones including Qinghushan-Tangjiagou, Shigou-Wushan, Jiangjunshi-Quhezhuang and Gekou shear zones from west to east.
Quartz-vein type gold deposits, and the individual ore veins are usually 40β350 m in depth, 1β10 m in thickness and extends 40β70 m even kilometers in length.

β Pilsenite ? Formula: Bi4Te3 Description: Reports of pilsenite from this locality are possibly the result of a translation error. The mineral is mentioned as occurring here in the English abstract of the paper by Liu et al. (2010), but the respective mineral name in the Chinese abstract is η’²ιηΏ (tellurobismuthite), not εΆη’²ιηΏ (pilsenite). Pilsenite is nowhere mentioned in the Chinese text, and the analytical data given for η’²ιηΏ indicate that the name indeed refers to tellurobismuthite and not to pilsenite. The only reason for listing pilsenite as questionable and not as erroneously reported is an erlier report by Liu and Lu (2006), which cannot now be validated because the full text is presently not available to us.
