Set of small mining operations located on levels of carbonates of age Carboniferous which form a band which extends to the neighboring municipality of Vilanova de Prades.
It is of a reservoir formed by a complex multievent, where we have one hand a process Sedimentary-exhalative (SEDEX) and subsequently processes of metamorphism type "skarn".
Mining of carbonates occurred during Eneolithic with some minor work during the Middle Ages. In the 1960's about 250,000 tons of ore were delineated.
