Zhytomyr Oblast (Ukrainian: Жито́мирська о́бласть, Romanized: Zhytomyrska oblast), also referred to as Zhytomyrshchyna (Ukrainian: Жито́мирщина), is an oblast (province) in northern Ukraine. The administrative center of the oblast is the city of Zhytomyr.

As of July 2020, the number of districts has been reduced to four. These are:

- Berdychiv (Бердичівський район), the center is in the town of Berdychiv;

- Korosten (Коростенський район), the center is in the town of Korosten;

- Novohrad-Volynskyi (Новоград-Волинський район), the center is in the town of Novohrad-Volynskyi;

- Zhytomyr (Житомирський район), the center is in the city of Zhytomyr.
