The Hilarion mine and the Christiana mine are co-type localities for zincowoodwardite, and this mine and the Serpieri mine are co-type localities for natroglaucocerinite.
Notes:
— Labels stating “Kamareza Mine No. 48” or “Hilarion No. 48” are incorrect.
— A so-called “Elbin-Stelle” (“Elbin spot”), mentioned in the German literature (articles by Wendel (1999)), belongs to the 3rd level of the Hilarion mine. It is better called “Rogger Pocket” after sprayed letters at that place (Rieck et al., 2018).
— The Hilarion Mine No. 4 is just a small section of the Hilarion Mine and was deleted from the database in September 2021 as a separate locality. It was started in 1897. Length 1261 m, at an elevation of 50.35 m a.s.l.
— The “Hilarion Mine No. 50” is also just a small section of the Hilarion Mine and was deleted from the database in October 2022 as a separate locality; a detailed explanation follows: The “Hilarion Mine No. 50” was erroneously thought, based on information from a Greek collector, to be a segment of the Hilarion Mine in which a locality for very nice cuprite crystals is situated (described in Schreiber et al., 2003). In fact, this short segment traverses only pure marble with no known mineral localities except some Fe-bearing smithsonite (Branko Rieck information, see also https://www.mineralienatlas.de/?l=58448).
— Fabritzite was discovered between the third and fourth level.
